‘Kel Strong’ Apparel’s mission is to give hope and support through powerful words and purposeful action to individuals and their families (loved ones) who are facing difficult life situations [ADVERSITY] and to those who have been impacted by a life-altering injury or illness. We are not just about selling shirts; we are also dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
Born from founder Kel Mabatah’s recovery journey after a severe traumatic brain injury, this brand stands for the belief that setbacks do not define us—how we respond does. Through simple yet powerful phrases, ‘Kel Strong’ Apparel is designed to:

I went from surviving a brutal attack that left me paralyzed and unable to speak, to becoming a professional bodybuilder, entrepreneur, and founder of The 'Kel Strong' Foundation. Today, my mission is to inspire and motivate others to embrace adversity, unlock their full potential, and thrive in the face of challenges.

FOUNDER'S STORY
WHY 'KEL STRONG' APPAREL EXISTS
In December 2014, Kel Mabatah survived a violent, near-fatal attack that resulted in a severe traumatic brain injury, multiple brain surgeries, paralysis on his right side, and loss of speech. Through years of rehabilitation, unwavering faith, and relentless perseverance, Kel rebuilt his life—physically, mentally, and spiritually, relearning how to walk and talk again. ‘Kel Strong’ Apparel was created to share that same message and hope with the world:
“You can survive the unimaginable—and still build something meaningful.”
